I often joke with my clients that playing DJ music is fun and I do that for free. What you are really paying for is for me to load up my disc jockey equipment, transport it to your location, set it up, and then pack all the gear up and take it back home at the end of the event.

Out of the thousands and thousands of songs in my music library, we've only got time to play about 50 songs at most events. By asking for and playing your requests I ensure that the songs you hear are the songs you want to hear. What a novel concept!

Many events such as weddings like to show photographs and video using computer based Powerpoint slide show presentations. My digital projector, projector stand and roll up screen are available for rent if you need this audio visual equipment at your event.

Start to Finish © service is only $599 for most events in Greater Vancouver
I arrive at your event at least 1 1/2 hours before the guests arrive to setup my disc jockey audio equipment and do the sound check which is essential to provide you with the highest quality sound.
Background music is available from the moment the guests arrive and throughout cocktails and dinner. The dance music is ready as soon as you are and can continue until after last call at the bar.
You're not limited to a 3 or 4 hour dance package like some other companies offer. With Collins Entertainment you get Start to Finish © service for every special event.

My Musical Waiter © service helps to encourage requests from everyone
Prior to the dance portion of the event I interact with all of your guests to give everyone a chance to make music requests.
I use my extensive musical knowledge to sequence the requests to provide the best musical flow for the event. Based on the requests that I receive I'll also add in some additional songs your guests will enjoy.
Don't worry you can specify if there are any songs that should not be played even if those songs are requested by your guests.

Included in the flat rate quoted for each event is a mirror ball with spotlights and a wireless microphone with backup wired microphones that can be used for speeches, prize draws and presentations.
I also have an optional Dance Club lighting package available for rent that contains a pair of rotating police beacons with three or four fixtures that create patterns of light that move to the beat of the music.
If I don't already own any equipment that you require or want to have for your event, I can rent it for you. Just ask.
