MUSiCAL WAiTER REQUEST SERViCE

Tailoring the music to what you and your guests want to hear is the best way to ensure an enjoyable event. In my 30 years of experience, I noticed that there are usually only a few people who come up and make most of the requests, so early in the event, I mingle with all of the guests getting requests from virtually EVERYONE in the room. 

OVER 38,000 SONGS

On site at each event my computerized music database allows me to quickly find your song requests. As shown on the right my music library includes all of the Top Artists of each decade from the 1940's to the present. My database can also be searched before the event to ensure availability of any special requests such as First Dances at weddings. 

ADVANCE SET-UP

At least an hour and half prior to the arrival of the guests, I setup and equalize the sound system to maximize the sound quality given the different acoustic properties of each venue.

Equalization is one of the most important steps to ensure the best sound quality. Every major artist does a complete sound check before their concert yet most DJs I've seen don't take the time to equalize their sound system during a pre-show sound check.  

START TO FINISH SERVICE includes BACKGROUND MUSiC

Unlike some 3 and 4 hour dance package DJs who show up midway through the evening I am at your event from start to finish. So if the unexpected happens, I am there to help you.  

At one event in 2007 the caterer actually "forgot" to deliver the food.  Since I was on site I quickly assisted the host in making the best of a bad situation by doing special dances and contests until the caterer finally showed up. At the end of the event the client said if she could have afforded to pay me double she would.  Not necessary, I said. It is all part of my service!

At no extra charge, relaxing jazz, lounge music or more up-tempo non dance hits can be played from the moment guests enter until the dance portion of the event begins.  

SPEECHES, PRESENTATIONS and PRiZE DRAWS

Drum rolls, fanfares, award show music, and sound effects are available to enhance your presentations.  Of course you are also welcome to use my wired or wireless microphones and send your PowerPoint audio through my sound system.

With my experience as a stand-up comedian, if needed, I am also available to act as your MC at no additional charge.  I can also offer advice to your MC which may help calm their nerves.

I co-ordinate the flow of the event with the venue, the caterers and you to ensure that your event runs smoothly.

As a one man company, you always deal directly with me, the owner of the business. The only disadvantage to using a one man service like mine is that once I'm booked... I'm booked.
