All
of my events include decorative lighting, a mirror ball and two
pin spots as shown below in the photo on the left.
In smaller venues, such as on board boats where space
doesn't permit the use of the stand, a mini mirror ball placed on the centre console may be
substituted.
The optional dance club
lighting
package shown in the photo on the right adds in a pair of rotating
police beacons and three or four fixtures that create patterns of
light that move to the beat of the music. One of the lights
known as an H20 creates a shimmering pattern of flowing "water" which
in my opinion looks particularly nice for First Dances at weddings.
About
half of my clients like the festive party atmosphere that the
dance club
lighting brings to an event. The other half who don't like
the twirling patterns of light say that they find it too visually
distracting. It all depends on the mood you are trying to
create for your event.
